Botanical Illustration: A Pringle Herbarium Workshop

Join us for a workshop on creating botanical illustrations. Linnea Ericsson Slater, a plant research technician in the Plant Biology Department, will talk about her work illustrating flora in UVM’s Pringle Herbarium collection. She will explain the purpose and importance of illustration as a scientific tool and lead attendees in a hands-on illustration activity. UVM’s Pringle Herbarium houses a diverse representation of the world’s herbaria and the largest collection of Vermont flora in the world.
