I am a busy person, and a lot of my growth comes from showing up. I attend events to meet people, learn, network, and stay close to the kinds of conversations that create new opportunities.
But I kept missing the events that mattered most.
One moment that really stayed with me was an event about fundraising and angel investors. I genuinely planned to attend. A few days later, I started seeing people post about it on WhatsApp status and Instagram. They were talking about how good it was, what they learned, who was in the room. I had missed it completely.
Then it happened again. And again. And again.
I realized the problem was not that I did not care. The problem was that the event never made it from the feed into a system that could actually help me remember and show up.
That was the beginning of Happa.
Now when I see an event I like, I share it to Happa exactly the way I would share a reel to a friend. Happa reads the post, extracts the event details, creates the event, and lets me save it straight to my Google Calendar. Then Google Calendar reminds me, and Happa reminds me too. I no longer lose important events in the noise of social media.
The more I used it, the more I realized this was not just my problem. It affects startup founders, professionals, students, teams, creators, and anyone else who discovers real-world opportunities through social content but lives a busy enough life that good intentions are not enough.
That is why Happa exists. We want event discovery to turn into actual attendance, not just screenshots, tabs, and forgotten intentions.
As we built, we saw a second problem too: the event industry is still fragmented. Organizers often jump between different tools for discovery, ticketing, check-in, reporting, and finance. So we kept going beyond calendar capture. Happa now helps make event creation, ticketing, check-in, and event operations smoother in one place.
We also know Happa should not try to solve every event workflow alone. That is why we built plugins. Developers can extend Happa with tools for exports, automation, analytics, internal workflows, and new services that help organizers do more with their event data.
And because financial workflows are sensitive, we created a more controlled path for payment plugins. In markets where we do not yet directly support ticket payments, approved companies can build payment integrations so organizers can still serve their users locally while staying inside the Happa experience.
Happa started with a very human frustration: seeing opportunity too late. Everything we are building still comes back to that. Help people discover better. Help them remember. Help them show up. Help organizers run events with less friction. And give developers room to solve the edge cases we have not solved yet.
If that sounds like your world, I would love for you to try Happa and tell us what feels useful, what feels broken, and what you wish existed next.
Try Happa and tell us what you think.
It is free right now. Save the next event you care about before the feed moves on.
