The manual way
- Take a clear photo of the flyer so you have the details in your camera roll.
- Later, open the photo and type the title, date, time and place into your calendar.
- Add a reminder. The photo alone will not remind you of anything.
The photo is the easy part. Turning it into a calendar entry is the step people skip.
The faster way with Happa
- Scan or choose. On Happa’s home screen tap Scan a flyer to use the camera, or Choose a photo for a photo or screenshot you already have.
- Happa reads the image. It finds the event name, date, time and location from the text on the flyer.
- Review and save. Check the details, choose your reminders, and save to your calendar.
Getting a good scan
- Fill the frame with the flyer and hold the phone straight-on.
- Use good light and avoid glare from glossy posters.
- Screenshots work too. A flyer someone posted online can be saved as a screenshot and chosen from your photos.
- Check the year. Flyers often show only day and month.

Yes. Use Choose a photo and pick the screenshot.
What if it misreads something?
You review everything before saving and can fix any field.
